One thing that I truly love doing every day is taking long (and when I say long, I mean loooooooooooooong) walks. It may be in the city, in a village or in the nature.

I like to get lost and then find my way back. I enjoy myself and all the thoughts which arrive on my mind. Some of them are past memories, some of them are present unfinished business and some of them are dreams - possible and crazy ones, both combined and seem normal to me.

When I take a walk in the city, I enjoy seeing other people, how they look like and what they wear. I love noticing the buildings around me, the little shops - especially the coffee shops - and other small details like full trash bins, a random bird on a tree, a dirty vitrine from a shop, a beautiful stack of flowers. I love to sit at a cafe outside, with the sun burning my face but still, feeling the crisp in the air, to drink my favorite coffee and maybe eating a little cake ☺

When I take a walk in the nature, things are the same but also very different. I always thought that I am a city girl, but growing up in it, I have realized that I prefer to be less connected to be more connected with life. I would never change my current house view of trees, mountains and the Alps with any beautiful building or small square. There are a handful of iconic paths that I can walk very close to my house every day, which I do, for 2-3 hours. So what I normally do is to walk one way, then sit at a bench under the sun and notice everything around me. The colors of the trees, the birds and the insects and listen to them or the river nearby. Sometimes, if it is not too wet, I walk close to it and place my hand in the cold water to just... feel it. This is my way of connecting back with the nature and kind of  meditation.

And now, when I am writing this, I am thinking about my tomorrow`s long walk 😊 I also plan to take my book together so I can stay even longer.
